Take A Valentine Spin

Just trying out another new set from the Occasions Mini.  This is a fun little set which works for lots of different holidays and occasions and the cute little game spinners really work.  I decided to do a Valentine Spin on this one.  I stamped in Elegant Eggplant and then took my Versamark pen and went over the spot for valentines and embossed with clear to make it stand out a bit more.  The DSP is from the Lap of Luxury pack.   I used the pinking hearts border punch for an little extra pizazz.  I hope you like this one.  I'll try to get back before the weekend.  I hope it warms up a bit I think I'm allergic to single digit temps....brrr.  If you would like to do a workshop for Sale-A-Bration please let me know - I can even do a Workshop in a Box for those that aren't local.  Thanks for looking and we'll see ya' soon.

Valentine Defined Play Day

Yeah I got to sneak away for a few hours of "play time" with my daughter and granddaughter today.  We had paper, stamps, ink, punches, and all the other fun stuff spread all over her kitchen.  We hadn't done this in a long time and we had a lot of fun.  I wanted to share a couple of the cards I made.  The first one is from the Valentine Defined set.  I stamped my images and then ran it thru my Big Shot.  I love the look you get when you stamp first.  This stamp set is one of my favorite valentine sets.     The next one is from the Filled with Love set that was featured in the Holiday Mini that we just finished up with.  See how you like this one.                                                             I know it's small but click on the picture and you can get a better look.  I'd love to hear from all of you.  Thanks for looking and we'll be back tomorrow with another post from the Occasions Mini catty.  Don't forget about the FREE stuff you get just for shopping during our Sale-A-Bration.  Just go to my Stampin' Up Store and shop.  You can even shop in your jammies.  Talk at you later.

Hearts Defined

Filled With Love

This little card was really easy to put together.  I used the Filled with Love set which by the way is on special until January 24th.  Check out my SU store for details.   This is called a Z-fold which is really easy but gives the card just a little different look.  Lots of fun things to do with this set and the bundle special includes the adorable DSP which you can only order thru the bundle so don't wait order today.  See ya' tomorrow - have a great evening.

Luv in the Air

  Valentines is slowly creeping up on us.  The last time I ordered SU added a little perk to my order, I love being a demonstrator.  These cute little Love Impressions rub ons are featured in the Occasions Mini that just came out.  This card was super quick and easy.  I used my little heart punch for the hearts at the bottom and added an Itty Bitty Button and i was done.  I'll be back with more tomorrow.  Have a great evening and thanks for stopping by.

Punchy Lil' Luv' Frogs

I've seen a lot of punch art things done since I've become a demo but wasn't that interested.  But lately I've tried my hand at a couple of bookmarks and things but when I saw a picture of this card I just had to case it.  I ended up on a blog that I'd never been to before and watched a video tutorial on how to put this together so I just had to try one yesterday at Britt's workshop.

I just think that is too cute don't you.  One of my customers had to make one for her husband before she left yesterday.  They really aren't that hard.  All of the pieces for the frogs were done with my Stampin' Up punches.  I'm kind of a punch junkie so I love to play with them.  If you want the directions shoot me an email and I'll get them right out to you.  Enjoy the rest of your Super Bowl Sunday and be safe in whatever you do.  Thanks for looking.

Heart Treat Sprinkles

I sometimes have a hard time making a "manly" card because a lot of Stampin' Up products look to frilly and pink to give to a man.  I had a workshop yesterday and my daughter needed a card for her hubby and this design seemed to fit the fill with a few of her own changes.

We also made one of these adorable "mini milk cartons with the die from the Occasions Mini.  They are so easy to put together but they are just too cute don't you think.

We also did one of these cute little Heart Treat Cups with a slider.  They are a lot easier to put together that then look.  Shoot me an email and I'll send instruction on how to make this cute little thing.  I'll be posting the last card that I showed them shortly.  Until then thanks for stopping in.

Sweet Treat Heart Cup Valentine

I'm having a lot of fun with the new Sweet Treat Hearts cups that Stampin' Up just came out with.  I've a got a workshop this Saturday and we are going to make some of these.  These are just a cute little "treat" valentine.  I started with a Melon Mambo Base 4-1/4 x 5-1/2.  I stamped with a heart from my new Clear Mount set Sweetheart in Rich Razzleberry and now the fun begins.  I punched out the center with the Full Heart Punch.  The next layer is Rich Razzleberry which I punched with the Scallop Border punch which I got for FREE out of the Sale-a-bration catalog.  Then I lined it up with my white layer and punched the heart out.  I've got a slider between the base and the Rich Razzleberry so you don't have to rip the card apart to eat the yummy M&M's.  I measured my layers on the base and then punched my heart thru the front of the card. I put mini glue dots on the front lip of the Sweet Treat Cup and adhered that to the first two layers.   I stamped my sentiment from Whimsical Words from SAB in Melon Mambo.  I used dimensionals on the back of the Rich Razzleberry piece to guide my slider and attached it to the base of my card.  I used the Small Heart punch out of the Occasions Mini for the hearts on the end of my slider piece and filled with M & M's and voila I was done.  I took one of these cute little treats to my hairdresser yesterday just to say "thanks" and everyone in the salon thought they were just adorable.  If you would like more detailed instructions please let me know and I'll get them to you.  Well that's all for now I'm off to relax a bit before I have to start the week all over.  Thanks for checking in.

BAB Valentine

I've had the Build A Bear set for a few months now and I think I've only used it once.  I had an open house last Saturday and I thought I'd better have at least one card with those cute little bears.  This little set is called Beary Best Friends.. I stamped in Stazon Black ink so I could color a bit on some Very Vanilla c/s.  Then I took a piece of the Sending Love DSP out of the Occasions Mini and stamped again and cut out the cute little dress.  I stamped the greeting out of the Beary Best Wishes with Chocolate Chip Classic ink but colored the heart with my Real Red Marker.  The card base is Pretty in Pink with a layer of Chocolate Chip and some of the gorgeous DSP Sending Love with the glitter on one side - isn't is darling.  A couple more layers - Chocolate Chip and Pretty in Pink and I used the Pinking Hearts Border punch on one edge of both layers.  Well this card wouldn't be complete with some brads so I used the 1/4" Chocolate Chip Sending Love Epoxy Brads - so cute don't you think.  Okay that's really all for now.  Until next time.

I (Heart) Hearts

Hi to all you peeps out in blogland.  Sorry I've been missing in action for a bit - it's been a bit crazy at my house the past week or so.  When I saw the Haitian Relief post on my Stampin' Up! website the other day I just had to get my set out and make something that I thought might tug at your heart strings.  Stampin' Up! is donating $2 from every I (Heart) Hearts stamp set that is sold thru 2/28.  I just love that Stampin' Up! always tries to help those in need no matter where they are or what the problem is.  This set is so versatile and can be used not only for Valentine's Day but you can use it year round for a lot of different occasions.  The small "love" hearts across the bottom fit the new small heart punch perfectly.  How easy can that be to whip out a card for someone you care about.  I used Elegant Eggplant c/s for the base and then a layer of Barely Banana topped with Pale Plum.  I love the new border punch Pinking Hearts from the new Occasions Mini.  The hearts were stamped in Elegant Eggplant, Barely Banana and Almost Amethyst.  I used some dimensionals on the large hearts to make them "pop" a bit.  The rick rack along the bottom is from the Ribbon Originals set.  I had to use my new, FREE, clear mount Whimsical Words set from the SAB brochure.  I love the new clear mount stamps.  I just want to thank you for stopping by now and then and I hope you like what you saw.  Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.  Thats all for now.
