MDS Memorial Day BBQ

I was just playing with MDS the other night.  My granddaughter and her husband just bought a house and had their first BBQ on Memorial Day so I've started to work on some pages and this is my first.  I love MDS it makes quick and easy pages a snap.  Well it's time to fix dinner so I'll have to say good bye for now but I hope to be back soon.

Skater Dude B-Day

 It was my grandsons 14th birthday last Monday and sometimes it's difficult to get something on paper that they will take a second look at.  I used the Extreme Elements set on my MDS for the background - kind of nice having things on my computer that I don't actually own yet.  I just thought I'd remind you what Pacific Point looks like because it's coming back in the new IBC on July 1st.  I inked up the Extreme Skateboarder in Pacific Point and Versamark and then embossed in clear ep and then cut the little guy out so I could attach to the background.  I needed a bit more "WOW" factor so I covered the whole piece with versamark ink and then covered with Glassy Glaze and took the heat tool to hit - that puts quite a shine to it.  You can kind of see it.  He seemed to like it but I think he liked the money inside more - but he'll save it and put it with all the others I've made.  Thanks for looking.  Later 

That's My Girls - MDS

I was playing around with My Digital Studio this morning while my internet was down and I wanted to share the page I put together.  We went up the canyon a couple of years ago to do some family pictures and I found one with my daughter Marlo and granddaughter Brittany with the beautiful autumn leaves in the background.  I just have to say that I'm hooked on digital scrapbooking now that Stampin' Up has come out with this awesome papercrafting software.  There's no end to the projects that can be created and then professionally printed with it.  Take a look below and see what I mean.

MDS Male Birthday

Evening peeps, I was playing around with some ideas on MDS and I came up with a birthday card for a male and I thought I'd post to see what you guys thought.  I'm still trying to get familiar with the software and there is so much to learn and play with I sometimes run out of time.  Give me some ideas and next time I'll see what I can come up with.  It's cold, rainy, windy and is supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow - not very nice weather for Easter on Sunday.  I guess we can hold the easter egg hunt in the house and hide eggs all over the front room..haha.  I think my grandkids are a bit too old for that.  I hope all of you out there in blog land have a wonderful Easter weekend.  Remember now enjoy the ones you are with and make sure to give them all a hug.  Bye for now.

Sale-A-Bration Open House

Whimsical Birthday

This is a birthday card for my granddaughter, Brittany who turned 19 yesterday.  I started looking for a couple of birthday sets and couldn't find them anywhere so I turned to My Digital Studio and printed out the cupcake in the Party Hearty set and also a curly label, printed them on winter white cardstock and then cut them out.  I used Winter White for the base of the card, a layer of Tempting Turquoise with a touch of Pixie Pink on the bottom.  Of course I had to use my new Pinking Hearts border punch out of the Occasions Mini and also the sentiment from the Whimsical Words set that I got free for spending $50.  You can do that too until March 31st.  Call me and schedule a workshop and you will earn even more free stuff.
