Halloween Festive Fun

I just wanted to share a quick lil' card I made for Britt and Marlo's workshop tomorrow.  I used the Festive & Fun set in the 2011 Holiday Mini.  I'll try to be back with more on Sunday.  Thanks for stopping by.

Lil' Ghostly Halloween Fun

I was playing around with some of the Halloween toys and came up with this one.  The two lil' ghosts are done with the new Owl punch and I just cut off the little legs and added googlie eyes and a bit of shading.  I used the new Web Embossing folder with my Big Shot on the layer of Basic Black.  I embossed the tree from the House of Haunts set on Daffodil Delight and sponged the edges with Tangerine Tango.  I embossed Happy Halloween on Tangerine Tango and popped it out with dimensionals.  Click on the picture to see the embossing a little better.  Have the rest of a nice holiday and we'll be back soon.

Spooky & Wicked

I finally had to play with some of the new toys for Halloween.  I love the new Big Shot spider web embossing folder in the new Holiday Mini that goes live today.  For the rest of it I used the Wicked Cool set out of the big catty.  It's soooo spooky and cute. There's a taste of Wicked Fun DSP and I used the 2-3/8" Scallop Punch which is awesome.  I'll try to get some more up before next Wednesday.  Thanks for stopping by and taking a quick peek.  Hug the ones you love and we'll see ya' later.

Stamping on Candles

I was trying to come up with something creative for a Halloween thing we've got going at work.  I needed two small gifts to go with a bag of treats.  I'd seen this done on a blog a long time ago but had never tried it.  It's amazing how easy this is.  Just a bit of tissue paper, stamps, ink, wax paper and my heat gun and "voila" my own original candles.  All will be amazed tomorrow.  Bye for now. MDS Spooky Spider

I couldn't have a Halloween workshop without doing a card on My Digital Studio.  What's really cool is some of the stamps sets that are included in the software I don't have so I've broadened my collection.  I just hurried and put this one together and printed it on Whisper White cardstock and then cut it out to fit my card base that I had ready - added two brads and was done.  It only took about ten minutes.  Have I told you I really love MDS lately?  Thanks for stopping by. Sweet M & M Treats

I've seen all off these cute and spooky Sweet Treat cards so I just had to try it for a workshop I did over the weekend.  Everyone just had to make one too.  They were all intrigued at how easy they really were.  I heard three or four ideas for different holidays and things to try with them.  Bye for now. Bite Me

[caption id="attachment_164" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Bite Me"][/caption]   This is another card we are going to do at Amanda's workshop.  It's pretty simple with the Twick or Tweet stamp embossed in black on Old Olive cardstock and then colored with Uni-Glo white pen.  The card base is Basic Black with some Perfect Plum for background and a piece of Cast-A-Spell DSP.  I ran just the edge of the Old Olive in my crimper and put two silver brads and was almost done.  It needed a bit more so I stamped the bat out of the From the Crypt set with black Stazon and then covered with Krystal Effects.  When it had set up I cut out and applied with dimensionals.  Pretty easy huh!  Cathy

Halloween Goody ' s

I'm getting ready for a workshop and Amanda wants to concentrate on the Halloween theme with some cute little goody ideas.  The DSP is Cast-A-Spell - my little birdie is from Twick or Tweet in the Holiday Mini.  The spider on my little criss cross box is out of From the Crypt.  If you want instructions on how to create your own give me a shout.  Until them hugs and kisses.
